Services for Mary Tolliver Green, 81, of Woodville, who died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at her residence, will be noon Saturday at Rose Hill Second Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Cedar Rest Cemetery No. 2, Woodville, under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home, Woodville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Green was born Nov. 21, 1925, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Abe Tolliver and Rowena Trivis. She served on the Mother’s Board at Oak Hill Baptist Church, where she was a member.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Green Sr.; her sons, Eddie Green and Ernest Green; and her parents.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Price and husband, James, of New Orleans, Edna G. Turner and Rose Turner and husband, Frank Sr., all of Woodville, Gloria Green of Austell, Ga. and Patricia Green of Centreville; sons, Edward Green of New Orleans, Jessie Green, Cleveland Green Jr., David Green and Percy Arbuthnot, all of Woodville, and Vernell Green of Atlanta; brother, Walter Turner of Kenner, La.; sisters, Cammille Martin of Katy, Texas, Georgia Sanders of Dallas, Texas, and Jessie Camerson of Kenner; 30 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
