Annie Windham

Services for Annie Elizabeth Germany Windham, 80, of Okolona, who died Friday, March 9, 2007, at North Mississippi Medical Center, in Tupelo, after an extended illness, were held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Faith Outreach Church with Bro. Jimmy Bryan officiating.

Entombment followed at the Chapel of Faith Mausoleum in Lee Memorial Park under the direction of Holland-Harris Funeral Directors, Okolona Chapel.

Mrs. Windham was born June 6, 1926, in Carrollton. She lived in Natchez for 19 years and in Monterey for 21 years before moving to Okolona in 1993. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and fishing. She was an active member of Faith Outreach Church in Okolona until her health failed. In Monterey, she was a member of Monterey Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the local Women’s Club. She loved her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and five siblings.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, C. B. Windham of Okolona; her daughter, Glenda Burns and husband, Kenneth, of Okolona; her sons, Charles “Chuck” Windham and wife, Pat, of Overland Park, Kan. and Jimmy Don Windham and wife, Susan, of Ferriday; ten grandchildren, Bridgett Burns, Brother Burns and wife, Autumn, Tiffany Dohner and husband, Doug, Jessica Windham, Trey Windham, Dawn Maynor and husband, Brian, Chad Windham, Tabatha Windham, Tip Windham, and Will Windham; five great-grandchildren, Alexis Pannell, Carter Burns, Carson Dohner, Kenan Maynor and Emma Windham.

Pallbearers were her grandsons and her nephews, Johnny Germany and James Gatlin.
