VIDALIA — Services for Moses Alexander, 75, of Vidalia, who died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Dixon officiating.

Burial will follow in Vidalia City Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Catherine Davis Alexander; grand parents, Elizabeth Strauder and Ady Sweazy; and one brother, Willie Lee Alexander.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Dorethea Alexander; three stepsons, John White and wife, Glenda, of Vidalia, Jessie Williams and wife, Yvonne, of Natchez, and Henry B. White and wife, Tory, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Bennie L. Alexander and wife, Mary, and Richard L. Alexander and wife, Barbara, all of Natchez; three sisters, Ella L. Alexander, Ethel M. Davenport and husband, Mark, of Natchez, and Marilyn Alexander-Turner of Vidalia; one uncle, Alfred Strauder and wife, Edna Marie, of Natchez; and a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
