Services for Fredrick Charles Collins, 23, of Las Vegas, formerly of Quentin, who died Sunday, March 18, 2007, will be 3 p.m. today at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe, La..

Burial will follow at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Quentin under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. today until service time at the church.

Mr. Collins was born July 6, 1983, in Brookhaven, the son of Fred and Carolyn Colemen Collins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Fred and Annie Ruth Collins; and maternal grandparents, Phillip Campbell and Clara Coleman.

Survivors include daughter, Ciarra Collins of Las Vegas; sister and mother figure, Lisa Coleman Adams and husband, George, of Quentin; four brothers, Donnie Dillon and wife, Brandy, of Lafayette, Darryl Coleman and wife, Jessica, of Yuma, Ariz., Jamie Collins of Quentin and Phillip “Blackie” Coleman of Bude; two nieces, Syeria Adams and Kara-Lynn Dillon; three nephews, Deonte Dillon, Aaron Adams and Darryl Coleman Jr.; a dear and special friend, Sherica Coleman of Las Vegas; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
