NATCHEZ— Funeral services for Larry James “House” Hauer, 57, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at noon at New Hope: The Vision Center with the Rev. Stanley Searcy officiating.
Burial will follow in Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Hauer was born on Sept. 12, 1956, in Natchez, the son of John B. Hauer Sr. and Laura Williams Hauer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Marjorie Louise Washington, Lillie Marie Washington, Ceola Lockey and Eileen Hauer; and two brothers, Lawrence “Peanut” Hauer and Clarence Hauer.
Survivors include daughter, Tiffany Hauer-Mosby and husband, Norman Mosby II; two grandsons, Norman “Tre” Mosby III and Jordan G. Mosby; one granddaughter, Morgan G. Mosby; 12 sisters, Natalie Hauer, Shirley Riley and husband, Paul, Viola Francis, Dorothy Smith and husband, Darnese, Bobbie J. Eldridge and husband, Wilton, Rosemary Lomax, Bobbie Nell Knight, Esther Ruth Poole, Jeanette King and husband, Eddie, Patricia Stegall and husband, Willie, Bobbie Ann Harris and husband, Ray, and Deloris Conner; four brothers, Charles Hauer and wife, Yolanda, Machel Hauer and wife, Marilyn, John B. Hauer Jr. and wife, Sheener, and James Poole and wife, Audrey; one uncle, John Cotton; two aunts, Helen Whitehead and Janice Cotton; special great niece, T’Zari “WOO” Washington-Marsaw; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
