Monday, Nov. 25

Charles Michael Nettles Jr. pleaded guilty to burglary of an inhabited dwelling (Count I) in Judge Forest “Al” Johnson’s court. Sentenced to 20 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Full credit given for time served as allowed by law. Must pay all court costs and fees as well as a $200 prosecution fee. Count II, aggravated assault, is dismissed.

Cierra L. Conner pleaded guilty to felony child abuse in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to five years in the MDOC. Full credit given for time already served as allowed by law. Must pay all court costs and fees, to include a $200 prosecution fee.

Charles Warren Grantham pleaded guilty to burglary of an inhabited dwelling (Count I) in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to 11 years in the MDOC, with the Court retaining jurisdiction for one year for placement of the defendant into the R.I.D. program with the MDOC. Must pay all court costs and fees as well as a $200 prosecution fee.

Friday, Nov. 22:

Khadijah Mosby, who was convicted of burglary of a dwelling on May 2, 2012, and sentenced to three years in the MDOC suspended and placed on probation for one year, has his probation terminated in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court after he has conformed to the conditions of said probation and has conducted himself in a law abiding manner.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

Terrell D. Page, 35, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Credit given for six days served. No fine assessed.

Sandra McGowan, 40, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Crystal Nicole Dennis, 29, pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Jameka S. Fields, 20, pleaded guilty to embezzlement less than $500/misdemeanor. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473. Restitution set at $206 to be paid to Dollar General.

Delta McPipe, 23, pleaded guilty to amended charge of disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $523. Bond set at $1,500.

Ikelane Ward, 28, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.

Liondell Minor, 34, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.

Tuesday, Dec. 3:

Michael A. Johnson, 48, charged with two counts of burglary of a commercial building, cars, etc. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing on each count.

Johnathan Griffin, 20, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance – less than 30 grams. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $450.

Brandon Colenburg, 20, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Case dismissed without prejudice.

Bessie Davis, 76, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Paid $696 to NLT on Dec. 3.

Larry Thomas Sr., 45, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple assault — domestic violence. Fine set at $773.

Eric Patton, 23, charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling with a weapon. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $30,000.
