Henry Brumfield

Services for Henry H. Brumfield, 85, of Natchez, who died Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with Dr. Edgar Wright officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Brumfield was born Dec. 16, 1921, in Auburn, the son of Henry Harrison Brumfield and Myrtis Albritton Brumfield. Mr. Brumfield was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church. He graduated in 1942 from Copiah-Lincoln where he was a member of the Sports Hall of Fame. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Cleta Faye Seale Brumfield of Natchez; daughters, Linda B. Cox and Faye B. Williams and husband, Gene, all of Natchez; son, Henry H. “Hank” Brumfield Jr. and wife, Sherry, of St. Francisville; grandchildren, Tech Sgt. Michael H. Brown, Katheryn D. Brown, Douglas E. Brumfield, Cody H. Brumfield, Jake Williams, Sarah Williams; a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Brown, Douglas Brumfield, Jake Williams, Cody Brumfield, Jack Sojourner, and Randy Brumfield.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
