NATCHEZ— Funeral services for Inez Fleming Plummer, 87, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at King Soloman Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Plummer was born Mar. 26, 1926, in Adams County, the daughter of Andrew Fleming and Nevie Fleming Smith.
Plummer was a graduate of Brumfield High School class of 1947. She was a lifelong member of King Soloman Baptist Church. She was a former salesperson at Georgia’s Dress Store and a certified nurses assistant at Tracehaven Nursing Center.
Plummer was preceded by her parents; step-father, Idorsey Smith; and son, Ronald Ray Plummer.
Survivors include two sons, Carl Plummer and wife, Minell, of Natchez, and Donald Plummer and wife, Annete, of Jackson; two daughters, Sherryl P. Frisby and husband, Adrian, of Natchez, and Doris D.P. Davis and husband, Herbert, of San Antonio; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
