Services for James T. “Buddy” Lee, 91, of Natchez, who died Monday, May 21, 2007, in Natchez, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Lee was born June 7, 1915, in Malone, Ala., the son of Hilton and Fanny Belle Martin Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Betty Sue Lee; brothers, Cletis Lee, W. C. “Bit” Lee; stepfather, Mack Jacobs; and sister, Cathy Jacobs.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Lee of Natchez; sons, Jimmy T. Lee and wife, Shirley, Billy S. Lee and wife, Rosalee, Don Lee and wife, Dorothy, Bobby Ray Lee and wife, Patricia, and Donny Lee, all of Natchez; daughters, Carole Briggs and husband, Walter “Bokie” and Cindy Burton and husband, Melvin, all of Natchez; sister, Frannyne Sims; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Lee, Travis Burton, Terry Wayne Lee, Anthony Carol Day, Robert Marley King, Preston Wayne King and Dwayne Thacker.
