Natchez is on show this weekend, and our manners must be polished like the silver in Rosalie.

Be happy to share directions, pick up trash and shake hands as you roam downtown and the festival site this weekend.

Smile when you see lost eyes peering around the corner.

And play it safe.

Visitors won’t know the one-way street code downtown, and they are likely to drive slowly and take wrong turns. As residents, we need to slow down ourselves and be prepared to encounter trouble.

The Great Mississippi River Balloon Race is one of the biggest parties of the year, and we want safe drinkers, safe drivers and safe boaters.
