Bernie Kiser

Services for Bernie Kiser, 74, of Ferriday, who died Friday, May 25, 2007, in Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Denny Braswell and Cindy and Wade Robinson officiating.
Mr. Kiser, was born June 4, 1932 in McCarr, Ky., the son of Willie Edwin Kiser and Nora Mae Kiser.
He was a resident of Ridgecrest, owner and operator of Kiser Heating and Air Conditioning, an alderman of Ridgecrest for 12 years and coach fro 12 years for the Dixie Youth and Dixie Boys Baseball.
Mr. Kiser served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers Walter Kiser and David Kiser and sister Ruby Norris.
Survivors include wife Kathryn Deskins Kiser, son Rusty and wife Pam Kiser, both of Ferriday, daughter Beth and her husband Robert Flaherty of Pineville, grandsons Russ Kiser and his wife Letty, and Barrett Kiser, grandchildren Kate and Jessie Flaherty and great grandchildren Maddy and Adrian Kiser, sister June Sisk of Raymond, Miss., brother Virgil and wife Joan Kiser, both of Ferriday, brother Roy and wife Rosemary Kiser, both of Ferriday, brother Frank Kiser and his wife Vonciel, both of Franklin, Ga., brother Donald Kiser and wife Cecelia, both of Hazelhurst, Miss., sister Nellie Craig of Bracey, Va.
