MEADVILLE — Funeral services for. Annie Pearl Holland, 88, of Meadville, who died Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at the Meadville Convalescent Home in Meadville will be 3 p.m. today at Praise Cathedral Church of God in Meadville with the Rev. Lee Miley and the Rev. Travis Touchstone officiating
Burial will follow in Byrd’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. today until the time of services.
Mrs. Holland was born Dec. 6, 1924 in Lincoln County, to William Hosea and Lillie Miranda Freeman Allred, and departed this life to be with her Savior on Nov. 22, 2013. She was a member of Praise Cathedral Church of God. She was retired from the garment industry and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Leroy Holland; one grandson, Doyle Jones; and two sisters, Myrtle Lee Holland and Maggie Marie Holland.
Survivors include her son, Arthur Roy Holland of Centreville; her daughter, Clarice Holland Jones and husband Clark of Meadville; one sister, Kathryn Seale of Washington; three brothers, Clyde Allred and wife Marie of Vidilia, Hollis Allred and wife Frances of Natchez and Bobby Allred and wife Gail of Monticello, Ark.; two grandsons, Anthony “Tony” Jones and wife Karen, and Royce Jones and wife Sandra, all of Meadville; two great-grandsons, Jason and Cody Jones of Meadville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brian Allred, P.G. Holland, Brad Taylor, Wade Touchstone, Jason Jones and Cody Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Touchstone and Jimmy Dean Arnold.
The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Ben Yarborough, Karen Touchstone CNP, the nurses and aides at the Meadville Convalescent Home, and Southern Care Hospice.
