CROSBY — Funeral services for Centerville “C.V.” Washington, 84, of Crosby, who died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Baptist Church Perrytown with the Rev. Earnest Ford Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Perrytown Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Washington was born May 12, 1929, in Perrytown, the son of George and Eliza Jane Scott Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Bessie Vida Washington, Josephine Laushaw and Colevia Terrel; and two brothers, Alfred Washington and George Washington.

Survivors include two sisters, Martha Owen and husband, Pat, and Rosie M. Granger; one sister-in-law, Bernadine Washington; one special niece, Betty J. Smith, all of Crosby; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
