Clarence Fleming Sr.

CRANFIELD — Services for Clarence Fleming Sr., 77, of Natchez, who died Monday, June 4, 2007, at his residence, will be at noon Saturday at Windy Hill Baptist Church No. 2 with the Rev. Larry Wright officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Fleming was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Adams County, the son of James and Marrie Fleming.

He was educated in the public schools of Adams County, was a retired machine operator with 43 years experience from Johns Manville, was a Baptist and served on the deacon board.

Survivors include a loving wife, Mary Washington Fleming; two daughters, Patricia F. Dunmore of Natchez and Minister Vivian Barnes and her husband, Rick, of Woodville; two sons, Clarence Fleming Jr. and Frank Fleming both of Natchez; two sisters, Rosetta Curtis and her husband, Phillip, both of Hampton, Va., and Florence Bacon and her husband, Earl of Natchez; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Roderick Barnes, Dan Washington Sr., Curtis Dunmore Jr., Rickie Fleming, Willie Fleming Jr. and Victor Fleming.
