NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Linda V. Geoghegan, 62, of Lake St. John, formerly of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. today at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. today until service time at the the church.

Mrs. Geoghegan was born April 5, 1951, in Vicksburg to James H. Vance and Betty Abney Vance. She was a retired teachers aide at Cathedral School. She was a member of St. Mary Basilica.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, William M. “Billy” Geoghegan; three sons, Martin Geoghegan and wife, Jana, Patrick Geoghegan and wife, Courtney, and Christopher Geoghegan and wife, Leah; seven grandchildren, Nichols, Abbey, Brookynn, Thomas, Cailey, Amelia Cate and Ashton; three sisters, Shirley Geoghegan, Jamie Bunchi and Rene Harrison; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Pat Biglane, Joe Garrity, Joe Murray, Stephen Melton, John Allen Melton, Kirk Montgomery, Geoghegan Clarke and Trey Dillion.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Weeks, Spencer Stutzman and Connor Robson.
