FAYETTE — Funeral services for Laura Tyler, 92, of Fayette, who died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at her residence, will be at noon Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Cannonsburg, with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at the church.
Mrs. Tyler was born May 25, 1921, in Jefferson County, to A.J. and J.Z. Gamble.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juanita Tyler; three children, Edward Tyler, Sylvester Tyler and Cleo Tyler and godson, Ernest Kaho.
Survivors include two daughters, Arnedia Johnson and Almeta Dorsey and husband, Andrew; six sons, Alfred Tyler and wife, Ida Mae, Leroy Tyler and wife, Bessie, Napoleon Tyler, Larry Tyler and wife, Rosie and John Tyler and wife, Flore J.; one goddaughter, Linda Jackson; forty grandchildren, seventy-six great-grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
