Marva Lee Mayberry

NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Marva Lee Mayberry, 88, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Leroy White officiating.

Burial will follow at Leesdale Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Mayberry was born Jan. 1, 1925, the daughter of Willis Mayberry and Ruth Skipper.

She was a member of New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Laymond Mayberry; one granddaughter, Tera Ford; four brothers, Willie Mayberry, Henry Mayberry, Allen Mayberry and Claudy Mayberry.

Survivors include one daughter, Minnie Mayberry; three sons, Murphy Mayberry, Hozen Mayberry, Willie Mayberry and wife, Mattie; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Davis, Grant Green, Ray Johnson, Charles Bacon, Charles Moore and Melvin Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
