NATCHEZ — Services for Leon Clark, 74, of Natchez, who died Friday, July 20, 2007, at St. Dominic Hospital, in Jackson, will be noon Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Logan officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Clark was born Dec. 18, 1932, in Adams County, the son of Walter Clark and Rachel Hargrave Clark.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Viola Jasmin; brothers, Freeman Clark and Timothy Holmes.
Survivors include his sisters, Emma Shelby and Julia Hervey, both of Detroit, Mich., Josephine Mason of Chicago, Ill., Roxie Clark and Lottie Mae Clark, both of Sibley; nieces, Hattie Weir and husband, Freddie, of Natchez, Georgia Martin and husband, Earl, Margie Easley, Sylvia Clark, Brenda Clark, and Alfreda Clark, all of Sibley, Rochelle Sheets and husband, Billy, Linda King and husband, Marco, Patricia Hamb and husband, Phillip, Tangie H. Brown, all of Chicago; nephews, Walter Green and wife, Martha, of Natchez, Edward Clark and wife, Margaret, of Jackson, Robert Clark of Shreveport, Curtis Hervey of Detroit; numerous of nieces, nephews and cousins; extended family, Country Brook Living Center, Brookhaven.
Pallbearers will be Walter Green, Edward Clark, Robert Clark, Anthony Clark, Donte Clark, Joseph Woods and Joe Rounds.
