Sandy Griffin Jr. of Natchez announces the engagement of his daughter, Sondra Stampley to Alonzo Brown Jr., son of Alonzo and Francine Brown of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Margaret J. Stampley.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Alcorn State University of Lorman. She is employed by Natchez-Adams School District.

She is the granddaughter of the late Sandy Sr. and Elizabeth Griffin of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School. He is employed by Smith International.

He is the grandson of the late Jenkin and Francine Randall of Vidalia and the late Alonzo W. Brown and Stella Brown of Natchez.

A private ceremony will be at 5 p.m., Nov. 16, 2013 at the Vue Hotel and Restaurant in Natchez.

A reception will follow.
