Cathedral QB a state finalist for Wendy’s High School Heisman

NATCHEZ — Cathedral High School quarterback Thomas Garrity has been selected as a state finalist for the Wendy’s High School Heisman award.

Garrity, a senior, is listed as a state finalist on the award’s website, wendyshighschoolheisman.com. According to Maxpreps.com, Garrity has amassed 2,812 yards and 38 touchdowns his season. MaxPreps has him ranked No. 26 on list of national passing leaders.

Garrity is the son of Dorothy and Dr. Byron Garrity.
