Monday, Oct. 21
Adrian M. Perry, who was convicted of credit card fraud and placed on one year probation on Sept. 10, 2012, has successfully completed his probation, and the charge is dismissed in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court.
Broderick Dunbar, who was convicted of possession of stolen property and felony jail escape and sentenced to three years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections suspended and placed on probation for three years on Sept. 14, 2010, has conformed to the conditions of his probation and has conducted himself in a law-abiding manner. Therefore, his probation is terminated in Judge Sanders’ court.

Friday, Oct. 18
Chinyere Mbonu, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
Gerricka Leverette, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 26 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve four days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
Mary Minter, 21, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve three days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
Lekenya Franklin, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve three days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
Audrey Devalt Michelle, 32, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
Monday, Oct. 21
Joe Nathan Green, 62, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct – failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days with 24 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for six days already served. Fine set at $373 less $150 for time served. Must pay a fine of $223.
Jennifer McGowan, 29, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 26 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve four days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
Tuesday, Oct. 22
Orinthia M. Bailey, 36, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor shoplifting. To serve 36 days in jail. Restitution of $253.00 to be paid to Walmart. Bailey also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor shoplifting. To serve 28 days in jail. Bond set at $7,500. Bailey also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor shoplifting. To serve 26 days in jail. Bond set at $7,500.
Terry Bindon, 37, charged with grand larceny. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $40,000 to $20,000.
Daquiria V. Hunt, 20, charged with embezzlement under contract. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $10,000.
Michael S. Simpson, 31, charged with aggravated assault — domestic violence (felony). On motion of prosecution and approval of court, charged is reduced to simple assault — domestic violence (misdemeanor). Bond set at $7,500.
Crystal Nicole Dennis, 29, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor shoplifting. To serve 28 days in jail. Restitution of $35.28 to be paid to Walmart. Dennis also pleaded guilty to DUS – revoked or suspended. Eighteen days to sit out fine in no release.
Wednesday, Oct. 23
Stephanie McCrory, 40, found guilty of two counts of misdemeanor false pretense. No fine or jail time set.
Annie L. Galtney-Nichols, 47, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. No jail time. Fine set at $573.
Kerry Lamonic Weir, 39, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days with 25 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit for five days served. Fine set at $473 minus $73 credit. Must pay a fine of $400.
Demond Minor charged with disorderly conduct — failure to appear. Case dismissed subject to plea of other charge. Minor also pleaded guilty to amended charge of simple assault. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for two days served. Fine set at $573.
