NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Louie “Mike” Mallory, 68, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, in Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.
Burial will follow in the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Mr. Mallory was born Jan. 15, 1945, in Natchez, the son of Ernest Vernon and Delores Simonton Mallory.
He was a member of St. Mary Basilica. He was also a teacher and football coach. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and was a die-hard football fan.
Mr. Mallory was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Kathy Scudamore Mallory.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Brady Mallory and wife, Rachel, and Patrick Mallory and wife, Julie; two grandchildren, Kathryn and Jake; one brother, Ernest “Duke” Mallory and wife, Weasie; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be, Jake Mallory, Doug Mallory, Jody Foster, Daniel Dillard, Jay Nibert and Dale Simms.
