MEADVILLE — Memorial services for Verna Elizabeth Ashford, 97, of Meadville, who died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Franklin County.

Mrs. Ashford was born Aug. 25, 1910, the daughter of Enoch Partridge and Mary R. Partridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lindsay Ashford; her parents, three brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her children and grandchildren.
