NATCHEZ – Services for Katie Lee Norton Parker, 91, of Iva, S.C., formerly of Natchez, who died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, in Anderson, S.C., will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Revs. Jim Payne and Jimmy Payne officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Parker was born Oct. 10, 1915, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Charles R. Norton and Mattie Galbreath Norton. She was a former member of West Side Baptist Church in Natchez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John H. “Red” Parker, and her son, Charles H. Parker.

She is survived by her children, Gary A. Parker and Patsy A. Watson, both of Vidalia, and Linda Parker Payne of Iva, S.C.; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren1915- and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Parker’s grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.
