Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Tuesday, Oct. 8:

Annie D. Franklin, 27, charged with two counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Bench warrant ordered for her arrest. Franklin also charged with two counts of felony false pretense. Case bound over to grand jury.

Michael Woods, 40, pleaded guilty to felony false pretense amended to misdemeanor false pretense. Fine set at $574. Woods also pleaded guilty to seven counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Total fine set at $1,941.07.

Lisa Allen/Havard, 34, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Fine set at $342.50. Allen/Havard also charged with five counts of felony false pretense. Case bound over to a grand jury after failing to pay as agreed.

Emanuel Bernard Jones, 41, charged with arson of a dwelling, etc. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $35,000.

Hillary Elizabeth Harrigill, 22, charged with shoplifting — over $500 (felony). Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $6,500.

Tyrone Williams, 27, charged with arson of a dwelling, etc. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $25,000.

Wednesday, Oct. 9:

Preston B. Edwards, 22, charged with DUI — first offense no test. Both officers failed to appear and therefore on motion of defendant, case was dismissed for lack of prosecution.

Carleshia Jenkins, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.

Beatrice Robinson, 25, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
