NATCHEZ— Funeral services for Robert “Bob” Shelton Joseph Sr., 82, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lovey Lane United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mitch Cochran and the Rev. Danny Speed officiating.
Burial will follow at Day Cemetery in Crosby under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visistation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. Joseph was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Wilkinson County, the son of Douglas and Nettie May Cavin Joseph. He was a member of Lovely Lane United Methodist Church and retired from International Paper Company in Natchez.
Mr. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, A. H., Jewel and Roy Joseph; one daughter, Judy Joseph.
Survivors include his wife, Orilla Day Joseph; two sons, Robert S. Joseph Jr. and Tommy Steven Joseph; two daughters, Sue Sullivan and Lisa Wilson; three grandsons, Chris Sullivan, Craig Joseph and Steven Joseph; four granddaughters, Stephanie Sullivan, Sarah Stebbins, Ashley and Stacy Joseph; two great-granddaughters, Callie Sullivan and Emma Claire Stebbins; one great-grandson, Thomas Kent Sullivan; two brothers, Don Joseph and wife, Dora, and Sid Joseph and wife, Carolyn; one sister, Gwen Putnam.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Joseph, Jeff Joseph, Warran Joseph, Steven Joseph, Craig Joseph, Chris Sullivan, Jim Durham and Elliot Stebbins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Grady Boykin, Ernest Barlow and Jim Cotton.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to A. J. Johnson, Nancy Day and Leah Ann Drake.
