FERRIDAY — Services for Elijah Hill, 74, of Missouri City, Texas, formerly of Ferriday, who died Sept. 17, 2013, at Cheaseas Garden Nursing Home in Houston, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, at New Morning Star Baptist Church, in Ferriday.

Burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, at National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home and Wille Waddell Riverside Funeral Directors of Houston.

Visitation will be Saturday 9 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Hill served in the U.S. Army and was a retired Chemistry Engineer.

Survivors include his wife, Eddie Beatrice Washington Hill of Missouri City and other relatives.
