NATCHEZ – Services for Marcella Fleming Washington, 49, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at her residence, will be at noon Friday at Rose Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Stanton officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Washington was born May 5, 1958, in Adams County, the daughter of Ike Smith and Annie Lee Bacon. She was a team leader at Vidalia Apparel, in Vidalia. Mrs. Washington was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church and was also affiliated with St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church. She was a graduate of the North Natchez class of 1976.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Calvin Washington of Natchez; daughters, Monique Fleming of Atlanta, KaShell Washington and Lekeisha Washington, both of Natchez; grandchildren, Laniya Foster and Jamiya Wimley, both of Natchez; sisters, Mono Bacon, Diana Carter and Gwen Robinson, all of Natchez; brother, Glen Fleming and wife, Faye, both of Monroe; and a number of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
