092013 KendraKJones obitpicNATCHEZ — Services for Kendra K. Jones, 33, of Houston, formerly of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Jones was born Nov. 2, 1979, in Natchez, the daughter of Irvin Terry Williams and Karen Jones Green.

She was a 1999 graduate of Natchez High School and attended Hinds Community College in Raymond. She was employed by First Presbyterian Playschool prior to her illness.

Ms. Jones was Baptist.

She enjoyed spending quality time wit her children and her family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank E. Jones and Katie Mae Jones, her paternal grandparents, Samuel L. Williams Sr. and Rose Durgan Williams; and one uncle, Earl Williams.

Survivors include her parents; three children, Kaitlin D. White, Kaleigh A. Jones and Keldon D. Jones, all of Stafford, Texas; two sisters, Katiece Harris and her special friend, Anbrell, of Natchez, Kayla Logan and husband, Cameron, of Houston; two aunts, Caroline Jones Washington of Houston and evangelist Shirley Martin of Missouri City, Texas; three uncles, Gearld E. Jones of Natchez, Samuel L. Williams II and wife, Kathy, of Missouri City and Scott Williams and wife, Glenda, of Houston; two nieces, Kyra A. Rankin and Kelby M. Wright, both of Natchez; one nephew, Korbin M. Logan of Houston; a special friend, Travis Bacon of Houston; a special little friend, Brooklyn Jackson of Natchez; godmother, Elmira Fleming of Natchez; and a number of cousins and friends who will cherish her memory.

Pallbearers will be the class of 1999.
