School is back in session; the temperatures are thinking about falling; and the hustle and bustle of another year with the Natchez Garden Club is in full swing. With many fun activities already scheduled for the upcoming Fall and Spring Pilgrimages, let’s begin the year with another fabulous and fashion forward show styled by Katie’s Ladies Apparel.
Showcasing both fall and winter styles, the fashion show will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. The show will take place after the Club’s business meeting at 11 a.m., and lunch will be catered by Natchez Specialties. Lunch will be $15 per person and a real treat for all. The meeting and show will be held in the reception Room at First Baptist Church in Natchez on D’Evereaux Drive.
Be sure to call in and make your reservation for this fashion show and spectacular lunch by Tuesday by calling the Natchez Garden Club’s office at 601-443-9065. Space will be limited, but we hope to see everyone there.
As always, we will be donating items to various charities in town throughout the year. So, start your school year off right by giving back to those in need around your community.
We will be donating cans or jars of spaghetti sauce and/or noodles to the Natchez Stew Pot to prepare them for the upcoming cooler months and holidays, which are quickly approaching! Also, we will be collecting feminine and personal hygiene items to donate to the local women’s shelter. Both of these causes will help these the people in our community prepare for the upcoming months and, hopefully, make their lives a little easier in the process.
While everyone’s schedules may be busy, take some time on Thursday to join the ladies of the Natchez Garden Club to celebrate upcoming fashions and a busy year ahead! If you have any questions about the club or are interested in joining, feel free to check out our website (natchezgardenclub.org), which is updated regularly, or follow up on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest. We are always trying to help share ideas for sprucing up your gardens or spark a little interest for you to learn more about your hometown on these social media sites. As always, you can call the Natchez Garden Club office for more details at 601-443-9065.
