VIDALIA — Services for Osmond Nelson Washburn, 87, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be held at a later date at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens in Fort Myers, Fla.

Mr. Nelson was born Aug. 8, 1926, in Chenango Forks, N.Y., the son of Clarence Nelson Washburn and Beatrice Ackley Washburn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth E. Martin Washburn; and two sons, Kenneth R. Washburn and Timothy Paul Washburn.

Survivors include two sons, Douglas Washburn and Richard Washburn; one daughter, Sharon Rushing; one brother, Elvin Washburn; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
