FROGMORE — Services for Beedell Gibson, 77, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at Claiborne County Hospital in Port Gibson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Gibson was born Oct. 4, 1935, in Tillman, the son of Leon and Effie Berry Gibson.

He was a retired heavy equipment operator.

Mr. Gibson was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Gibson.

Survivors include one daughter, Belinda Benjamin and husband, Johnny; one brother, Milton Hynum, all of Pattison; one sister-in-law, Lucy Smith of Ferriday; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
