NATCHEZ – Services for Lonnie Hunt, 36, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at University Medical Center, in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew African Methodist Episcopal Church, in Washington, with the Rev. Roosevelt Sewell officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Hunt was born Feb. 2, 1971, in Adams County, the son of Betty Hunt and Cleveland A. Hunt. He was a 1989 graduate. Mr. Hunt was employed as a truck driver and was an Emergency Medical Technician for Metro in Natchez. He attended St. Andrew African Methodist Episcopal Church and Southwood Lodge Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mable Gibson and Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Butler.

Survivors include his parents; grandfather, Rufus Gibson; brother, Michael Hunt and wife, Val, both of Denver, Colo.; sister, Tosha Hunt of Natchez; his children, Jacari Blanton and Trevon Blanton, both of Natchez and Jared Hunt of Pennsylvania; nieces, Janeisha Hunt, Jakierra Hunt, Jakayla Hunt, all of Natchez and Asia Hunt of Denver; nephews, Jadarrius Hunt of Natchez and Corey Hunt of Denver; aunts, Pat Bacon and husband, Warren, Florence Mosby, Lucille Butler, Mary Ann Butler and Claudia Davis, all of Natchez and Marilyn Foster and husband, John, both of Georgia; and uncles, Willie Hunt of Illinois, Frank Butler of Texas, Aaron Gibson of New Jersey, Robert Gibson and Ronnie Gibson, both of California and David Gibson and wife, Mary, both of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Michael McMorris, Sydney Moore, Johnny Washington, Frederick Hunt and Glen Henderson.
