Glendol Wesberry

WOODVILLE – Graveside services for Glendol Thomas “Bird” Wesberry, 54, of Woodville, who died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lakes Medical Center, in Baton Rouge, will be at 2 p.m. today at Evergreen Cemetery, in Woodville, with the Rev. Tom Sexton officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Newman Funeral Home in Centreville.
Mr. Wesberry was born Feb. 9, 1953, in Woodville, the son of Glenn Franklin Wesberry and Hazel Thomas Wesberry. He was a construction worker. Mr. Thomas was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by father.
Survivors include his wife, Neill Henderson Wesberry; his mother, Hazel Thomas Wesberry, both of Woodville; daughter, Jennifer Wheeler of Central, La.; sons, Russell Wesberry of Woodville and Jimmy Wheeler of Central, La.; brother, Bobby Earl Wesberry of Woodville; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Yarbrough, David Littleton, Chris Guidry, Adam Davis, Bubba Cavin, Ray Satcher and Herschel Phipps.
Honorary pallbearers will be Milton Wesberry, Charles Seal, Will Seal, Leroy Nettles, Arthur Smith, Bennie Arbuthnot, Frank Turner, Ruffin Williams, Arron Freeman, Chris Guidry, Jeff Johnson, Pewee Caston, Jennings Nettles and Donald Enis.
