BUDE – Services for Anthony Dale Tibbs, 50, of Bude, who died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Tibbs was born July 29, 1957, in Brookhaven, the son of Milton Leonard Tibbs and Vergie Oliver Tibbs.
He was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents, Milton and Laurel Tibbs and T.J. and Myrtle Oliver.
Survivors include one son, Christopher Tibbs and wife, Michelle, both of Hattiesburg; mother, Virgie O. Tibbs of Bude; three sisters, Sandra Covington and husband, Prine, both of Brookhaven, Patricia Stroud and husband, James, both of Bude and Betty Smith and husband, Gerald, both of Vidalia; one brother, Milton Leroy Tibbs of Brookhaven; two grandchildren, Conner and Jaron Tibbs, both of Hattiesburg; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
