Leon and Creseda Crawford of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany Stewart, to Marcus Stanley, son of Shelley and Claudia Stanley of Atlanta.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Robert Stewart of Birmingham, Ala.

She is an honor graduate of Natchez High School and a magna cum laude graduate of Alcorn State University. She earned a juris doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law. She is the managing partner of the Stewart Law Group in Douglasville, Ga.

She is the granddaughter of George Davis and the late Bessie Mae Davis of Natchez and Margaret Stewart and the late Boykin Stewart of Birmingham.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Benjamin E. Mays High School in Atlanta and Morris Brown College also in Atlanta. He is employed as a senior human resource specialist by the City of Atlanta Department of Public Safety.

He is the grandson of the late B and Martha Nell Stanley of Atlanta and the late Claude and Cleo Thompson of Birmingham.

The wedding will be Aug. 31, 2013, at the home of Leon and Creseda Crawford.
