FERRIDAY — Services for Bobbie Calvit Morgan, 78, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at her residence, will be today at 11 a.m. at Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday, with the Rev. Russell Crum officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Natchez.
Mrs. Morgan was born Oct. 2, 1929, in Winnsboro, La., the daughter of Robert A. and Alva Calvit. She worked as a teacher in the Jefferson Davis Parish Public School System until her retirement. She was a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church.
