GARDEN CITY – Services for Karsheika Graves, 21, of Baton Rouge, who died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, in Baton Rouge, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Matthew Baptist Church with the Rev. John Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home in Gloster.
Miss Graves was born July 31, 1986, in Mississippi, the daughter of Gary Cooper and Lola Jackson. She graduated from high school in Clinton and was a student a Louisiana Technical College in Baton Rouge.
Survivors include her mother; stepfather, Willie Jackson, both of Clinton; her father and stepmother, Shirley Cooper, both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Harmonee and Trinity Thomas, both of Baton Rouge; five brothers, Willie Jackson Jr., John Jackson and Israel Jackson, all of Clinton, Corey Cooper and Chad Cooper, both of Vicksburg; three sisters, Cortni Cooper, Carielle Cooper and Brittney Cooper, all of Vicksburg; maternal grandparents, William and Annie Graves, both of Hazelhurst; paternal grandparents, Ida Robinson Norton of Chicago and Claude Britt of Camden, N.J.; special uncle and aunt, Patrick and Karlyn LeBlanc of Baton Rouge; fiancé, Lewis Thomas of Baton Rouge; and other relatives and friends.
