NATCHEZ – Services for Winnie Mitchell Taylor, 81, of Brandon, formerly of Natchez, will be 2 p.m., today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Ted Weeks officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Taylor was born April 15, 1928, in Franklin County, the daughter of Charlie Lee Mitchell and Molly Oglesby Mitchell. She was retired from A & P Tea Company in Natchez.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Ernest Taylor.
Survivors include, daughters, Hilda Berry and husband, Pete, both of Gautier, Mary Anne Heck and husband, Darrell, both of Lake Worth, Fla., Ernie Powers and husband, Allen, both of Knoxville, Tenn., and Debbie Hewitt and husband, Claude, both of Madison; eight grandchildren, Jay, Doug, and Jeremy Berry, Davy Kyzar, John Sullivan, Adam Powers, Melissa Hewitt and Emily Hewitt Ingram; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Lola Norwood of Ridgecrest.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jay Berry, Doug Berry, Jeremy Berry, Davy Kyzar, John Sullivan, and Adam Powers.
Honorary pallbearer will be Blayne Ingram.
