NATCHEZ – Services for Joseph Fleetwood Hall, 75, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a .m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Sah-Buckman, SSJ, officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church, with the Rosary at 10:30 a.m.
Mr. Hall was born May 6, 1932, in Natchez, the son of Dan and Marie Hall. He attended St. Francis and Brumfield Schools. He retired from International Paper Company after 38 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Gabrielle A. Landry; one brother, Dan T. Hall Jr.; stepmother, Helen Hall; and grandparents, Dan and Mary Hall and Fleetwood and Mamie New.
Survivors include his wife and best friend, Naomi Hall; children, Valencia Hall, Sophronia Hughes, Angela Singleton and husband, Sammy, Marie Hall, Naomi Hayes, Ursula Hall and companion, Vernon, Mamie Landry and husband, Kenneth, Dr. Ibrahim Seki, Albert Hughes Jr. and Carl A. Hayes I; 15 grandchildren, Naomi L. Walton, Albert J. Hughes and wife, Tamla, Cynthia A. Williams and husband, Michael, Kimberly M. Singleton, Carl A. Hayes II, Joseph S. Hayes, Chelsea A. Hall, Sam E. Singleton and companion, Chandra, Brian K. Hughes, Tony J. Hughes, Derrin E. Hughes, Darrius K. Hughes, Sonny Larkins and wife, Jacqueline, Joshua Walton and Kennedi Landry; seven great-grandchildren, Christian, Mikayla and Michael Williams, Kya and Kamron Singleton, and Albert J. and Alaina Hughes; three brothers, Edward Hall and wife, Archie, Wayne Hall and wife, Peggy, and Willard Hall and wife, Emma; one sister, Shirley Landry; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Bessie Leake, Frank and Claudia Heard, Oliver and Irene Thomas, Gale Williams and Mary Hall; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbeares will be Albert Joseph Hughes, Brain K. Hughes, Tony J. Hughes, Joseph S. Hayes, Sam E. Singleton, Jeff Leake, Anthony Scott and Juan Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Family School.
