FERRIDAY — Services for Michael Shannon Johns, 46, a private business owner from Pineville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. John Collard officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Johns was a great writer of poems, loved music and his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his parents, Douglas and Paula Santoyo Johns; two brothers, Joe and David Johns of Alexandria; one sister, Tiffany Ellis of England; five nieces, Monica, Carly, Erin, Olivia and Justina; four nephews, Tristan, Gavin, J.P. and Dominic; and a number of aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be Clay Ferrington, Richard Lively, Brad Johns, Eric Johns, Mitch Risinger and Johanna Miller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Santoyo and Johnny Orr.
