WOODVILLE – Services for James Madison “Jimmy” Cutrer Jr., of Woodville, who died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Field Memorial Hospital, in Centreville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Woodville United Methodist Church with the Revs. Van S. Moore and Bernard Waites officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, in Woodville, under the direction of Newman Funeral Home in Centreville.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Mr. Cutrer was born July 28, 1946, in Woodville, the son of James Madison Cutrer Sr. and Emma Marguerite Haydel Cutrer. He was retired from Tembec, LLC, in St. Francisville, where he was a millwright for 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Miller Cutrer; four sons, Phillip John Cutrer and wife, Geneva, Adam Blake Cutrer and wife, Brigette, and Stephen Lance Cutrer and wife, Brittney, all of Woodville, and Brian Todd Cutrer and wife, Anne, both of St. Francisville; one sister, Sandra Lee of Baytown, Texas; one uncle, Joe Haydel and wife, Norma Jean, both of Natchez; seven grandchildren, Christopher Alan Houghton, Tailor Jordon Cutrer, Phillip John Cutrer II, Kristina Brooke Seyfarth and Cooper James Cutrer, all of Woodville, and Mallory Sarah Cutrer and Emma Madison Cutrer, both of St. Francisville.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Cutrer, Brian Cutrer, Blake Cutrer, Lance Cutrer, Jake Ryan, D.D. Sumrall, Sidney Ashley and Mike Logan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Olive, Eric Trevillion, Hal Brannon, Dr. David McGraw, Dr. Robert Lewis, Robert Lewis Whitehead, Robert Bordelon and Bobby Underwood.
