Natchez — Services for Charles Q. Aldridge, 81, of Roxie, who died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Matt Armstrong officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Aldridge was born Oct. 3, 1926, in Franklin County the son of Charles Q. and Hazel Adams Aldridge. He was employed by Murphy Oil Company for over 30 years.
Mr. Aldridge was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ann Floyd Aldridge; four brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Vickie Darlene Aldridge Rollins of Woodville; one granddaughter, Trisha Rae Wilson of Gloster; two stepsons, Glen Austin of Lafayette, La., and Grady Austin of Vicksburg; one stepdaughter, Carloyn Sinn of Lafayette, La.; special friends, Karen Felter and Bo Jones, both of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be A.K. Moore, Phil Gordon, Gary Smith, Clutch Aldridge, Terry Britt and Jerry Stroud.
