VIDALIA — Services for Ronald Donaldson, 69, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Riverside Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel.

Mr. Donaldson was born June 5, 1944, in Columbia, the son of Roscoe and Annie Mae Donaldson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a special niece, Jessie Donaldson.

Survivors include his wife, Angie Donaldson; seven children, Rhonda McElroy and husband, Henry, Cindy McDaniel and husband, Mack, Byron Donaldson and wife, Rikki, Clint Barnett, Dawn Barnett, Danny Barnett and Dakota Barnett; five siblings, Dale Donaldson and wife, Kathy, Gary Donaldson and wife, Michelle, Connie Morace and husband, Mark, Darrell Donaldson and wife, Cindy, and Farrell Donaldson and wife, Shirley; 10 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Justin McElroy, Joshua McElroy, Jordan McElroy, Devin McDaniels, John Mark Morace and Jason Carter.

Honorary pallbearers will be Redco employees.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Humane Society.
