NATCHEZ – Services for Luella Dee Elliott, 86, who died Thursday, March 20, 2008, will be at noon Monday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Faye Hudnall officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Elliott was born April 6, 1921, in Natchez. She was a long time volunteer for the Salvation Army.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowery Elliott; one son, Lucien Elliott; and one daughter, Grace E. Fields.
Survivors include one son, Michael Elliott; one daughter, Anna Elliott, both of Natchez; five granddaughters, Beth Elliott Bradley of Tampa, Fla., Vicky Elliott of Monroe, La., Katy Elliott of Greenwood, Amanda Fields and Sara Fields, both of Brandon; one great-grandson, William Bradley of Tampa; daughter-in-law, Ruthie Elliott of Greenwood; and one son-in-law, Michael Fields of Brandon.
Pallbearers will be Jim Blough, Philip Carby, Kyle Hazlip, Buddy Emerick, Bob Foley, Walter Doughty and Andy Eidt.
Memorials may be made to Natchez Children’s Home or the Natchez Humane Society.
