Help sponsor Natchez Poker Run

Attention anyone that rides a bike or those that wish they did. The Krewe of Fat Mama’s and Adams County Search & Rescue (ACSAR) have teamed up to host the third annual Natchez Poker Run on Sept. 14.
The Adams County Search & Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit service organization, dedicated to the search and rescue assistance to the citizens of Adams County but has provided assistance to our neighboring counties and parishes with no cost to them. Their goal this year is to purchase a forward looking infrared camera. This camera will enable our team to “see in the dark,” speeding up the possible rescue of someone needing assistance. This equipment will also be available to our local law enforcement personnel for their use in protecting you during times of need.
They are currently seeking sponsorships for this event and have the full support of the Adams County Emergency Management Agency. ACSAR is a 501(c) organization and all donations are tax deductible and all proceeds benefit Adams County Search & Rescue. This year they have two levels of sponsorship:
- $100 and above donation
- $50 donation
Your minimum donation of $100 guarantees your name listing on the T-shirt and places your business name in any media advertisements. Your donation of $50 guarantees your name in their media advertisements. There is a deadline of July 31st to guarantee that your sponsorship gets place on the T-shirt.
Please contact Melissa Brown at melannbrown79@gmail.com to become a sponsor of this worthy event. More information will be forthcoming soon concerning participating in this event.
On a personal note I will say this, if it were not for the work of the volunteers of the Adams County Search and Rescue, my job would be so much harder. This team has been instrumental in many aspects of my office protecting you, the citizens of the Miss-Lou.
I humbly ask that you support them.
Stan Owens Jr. is the director of the Adams County Emergency Management Association
