Thursday, July 25:

Kendrick D. Smith found guilty by a jury of armed robbery (Count 1) and aggravated assault upon a law enforcement officer (Count 2) in Judge Forrest “Al” Johnson’s court. Sentenced on the armed robbery charge to 40 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections and on the aggravated assault upon a law enforcement officer charge to 30 years in MDOT with the sentences to run consecutive. Must pay all court costs. Credit given for all time in custody while awaiting trial, as provided by law.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Monday, July 15:

William A. Rouse, 24, pleaded guilty to two counts of simple assault. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior on each count. Banned from saloon. Fine set at $523 on each count. Rouse also pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373. Rouse also pleaded guilty to simple assault. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $523.

Dennis Banks, 32, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 17 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 13 days in jail. Fine set at $573.

Cynthia Ellis, 37, pleaded guilty to trespassing upon enclosed land. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323 minus $162 paid on July 15. Must pay a fine of $161.

Janeyhia B. Rankin, 33, pleaded guilty to bond jumping and paid $400.

Crystal C. Tillman, 25, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $573.

Wednesday, July 17:

Janice Sanchez, 56, charged with shoplifting — first offense. Case remanded to files.

Alyce M. Smith, 56, charged with willful trespassing. Case dismissed.

Fredrick V. Washington Jr., 21, charged with simple assault — domestic violence — second offense. Case dismissed.

Nancy Coleman, 40, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573. Coleman also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false information. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $423.

Deneshara Breon Tucker, 24, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Dollar General Store, Fine set at $573.

Lamar Stampley pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence — second offense. Sentenced to 60 days with 53 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve seven days in jail. Fine set at $723.

Friday, July 19:

Brandon Holden, 21, charged with eight counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Case dismissed.

Mark Jeffery McNeil, 46, found not guilty of simple assault —domestic violence.

Kedric Bindon, 41, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false information. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $423.

Crystal L. Foster, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting —first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $573.

Leslie Scott, 28, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct —failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.

Gay Eunice Bielefeld charged with felony shoplifting. Preliminary hearing set for Sept. 10.

Monday, July 22:

William A. Rouse, 24, pleaded guilty to simple assault. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Fine set at $623. Rouse was also charged with simple assault. Case remanded to files in consideration of plea to other three charges. Rouse also pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Fine set at $373. Rouse also pleaded guilty to simple assault. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Fine set at $623.

Charles Woods Jr., 23, found guilty of shoplifting —first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $598.

Jarriod Hauer, 19, found guilty of shoplifting —first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 21 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve nine days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $598. Hauer was also found guilty of misdemeanor false information. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $423.

La Ronda R. Bernard/Johnson, 37, pleaded guilty to shoplifting —first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $573.

Patricia O. Johnson, 30, pleaded guilty to shoplifting —second offense. Sentenced to 60 days with 51 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve nine days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $673.

Wednesday, July 24:

Morgan Williams, 56, found guilty of disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $360.

Jahdai M. Davis, 20, found guilty of disorderly conduct —failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $498. Davis was also charged with simple assault. Case dismissed —victim not served.

Shunna Perkins, 21, found not guilty of shoplifting encouraging.
