NATCHEZ — Services for William Warfield Jr., 48, of Natchez, who died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Elery officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the funeral home.

Mr. Warfield was born Jan. 1, 1965, in Natchez, the son of William Warfield Sr. and Katherine McKnight Warfield.

He was the owner of and operated Warfield Trucking Company.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister, Shilinda Warfield.

Survivors include his father of Natchez; two sons, William Warfield III and Stefan Warfield, both of Virginia; two daughters, Chantel Warfield of Virginia and Diamond Warfield of Georgia; three sisters, Diane Wilson of Moreno Valley, Calif., Pamela Warfield Edward and husband, Eddie, of Oakland, Calif., and Daraline Winston of Haywood, Calif.; three brothers, Kenzel Warfield, Frederick Warfield and Michael Winston, all of California; three uncles, Joseph Warfield and wife, Lucille, and Julius McKnight and wife, Agnes, all of Natchez, and Mike Warfield and wife, Jennifer, of Biloxi; five aunts, Debra Fitzgerald and Joyce Semon, both of New Orleans, Alma Myles, Barbara McClain and husband, Edgar, and Shelia McKnight, all of Natchez; two special cousins, Sheila McKnight and Kenyatta McClain; and a number of other relatives and friends.
