NATCHEZ – Services for Louise Brister Rollison Jenkins, of Natchez, who died Monday, May 5, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with Dr. Edgar Wright officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jenkins was born Oct. 13, 1913, in Canton, the daughter of Henry Edgar and Annie Olivia Turnage Brister. She was formerly employed with Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company, AB Motor Company and Boe Construction Company, in Pine Bluff, Ark., until her retirement. Mrs. Jenkins was a longtime member of Morgantown Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Richard Rollison and Floyd Jenkins; three brothers, Sam, Cecil and Bill Brister; and five sisters, Eva Hobson, Emma McCormack, Henry Edna Wooley, Alice Arnold and Nell Jenkins.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Rollison McKay of Natchez; one grandson, Keith McKay and wife, Nina; three great-grandchildren, Patrick, Shannon and Lizzie McKay, all of Allen, Texas; one granddaughter, Karen Wise and husband, Jacky, both of Natchez; two sisters, Ethel Curtis of Utica and Lois Tidwell of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be members of the family.
