NATCHEZ — Services for Jim Ivory, 75, of Natchez, who died Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Crown Health and Rehab Facility in Natchez, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Samuel Porter officiating.
Burial will follow at Windy Hill Baptist Church No. 1 Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Ivory was born Sept. 4, 1937, in Marigold, the son of Ollie Cain Ivory and Lennox Ivory Jr. He was a truck driver.
Mr. Ivory was Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two children, Walter Ivory and wife, Rachel, of New Orleans and Shirley Johnson and husband, Rodney, of Topeka, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Ollie Evans, Nellie Terrell and husband, Robert, all of Natchez, and Lillie Mae Ivory of Chicago; two brothers, Leonard Nelson and wife, Velma, and Don Woodfork, all of Natchez; and a number of other relatives and friends.
